Of NAGALAND under the Global Open Unoversity at 2006 (act 3 of 2006) received the ascent of theGovernor of Nagalend on 30th of august 2006, and was notified vide notification number law/act – 10/2006 on 18th september 2006 the provision of the global open university act 2006 where published in the nagaland official gazette on 18th september 2006 for generel information

The D.E.C., new delhi has recognised the global university nagaland vide letter D.E.C./GOU/NGL recognised 2008/8685 dt:2nd june 2008 issued by the director D.E.C.

Global Open University Nagaland has been established in an at of state legislature and is empowered to award degree as specified under section – 22 of the ugc act 1956.
